Primary Operations
We have the capability to vacuum-form or pressure-form plastic parts up to 6 feet long by 4 feet wide. From .032" (1/32") through .50 (1/2") in thickness. A wide variety of plastics can be used including Styrene, ABS, Polycarbonate, Polyethylene, PVC and PETG. Finishes available are Smooth, Matte, or Haircell. Colors available are unlimited.
Secondary Operations
Aside from forming your plastic needs American Design Inc. has full secondary operations to provide you with a completed showroom quality product. Manual routing and trimming operations are supplemented with fully automatic and computerized 3-axis and 5-axis routing machines able to provide precise and accurate details depending on your requirements.
Other operations include punching, drilling, de-burring and heat bending. Assembly of plastic components can be accomplished through the use of various adhesives and riveting.
We also provide complete part finishes, including painting, texturing, EMI shielding and silk-screening.
